WEB Bernard Jean Étienne Arnault, a French businessman, investor, and art collector, is the mastermind behind one of the world's leading luxury conglomerate, LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SA. Born in 1949, Arnault has overseen the growth of LVMH into a global empire of 75 fashion and cosmetics brands, including iconic names like Louis Vuitton, Dior, and Fendi.

Arnault's entrepreneurial ventures began at a young age. After graduating from the École Polytechnique, he joined his father's construction company, Ferret-Savinel. Under his leadership, the company expanded rapidly, acquiring numerous construction and real estate businesses.

In 1984, Arnault made a strategic move that would forever change his career trajectory. He acquired Boussac, a struggling textile company then on the verge of bankruptcy. Arnault saw the potential in Boussac's luxury brands, which included Christian Dior and Le Bon Marché. Through skillful business maneuvering, he transformed Boussac into the foundation of what would become LVMH.
